The healthcare communications world gathered in London last week for one of its biggest celebrations of creativity and impact: the newly rebranded PMi Awards 2025. Formerly known as the PM Society Digital Awards, the event returned with a new identity that reflects how far the industry has come. Digital is no longer a silo, it’s part of a much bigger picture where innovation, pragmatism, and measurable results define success.

Hosted at The Brewery in London on September 11, the awards shone a spotlight on the campaigns and collaborations that are not only breaking creative ground but also making a real difference in healthcare.

Among the standout winners were Camino Communications, who walked away as the most awarded agency of the night with two Golds, a Silver, two Bronzes, and a Highly Commended recognition. Their own Rebecca Illsley was also named Agency Champion of the Year, adding a personal highlight to the agency’s big night. On the client side, Jazz Pharmaceuticals took home two Golds and two Bronzes, while their UK & Ireland Medical Director, Alex Legg, was named Pharma Partner of the Year. These wins underscored Jazz’s commitment to putting innovation and patient impact at the center of their work.

This year’s awards made it clear that technology and AI are no longer experimental side projects. They are shaping the future of pharma marketing and education in tangible ways. Judges praised entries that paired creativity with executional excellence and practical problem-solving. One of the most talked-about campaigns came from Flipside Health and Corbin Comms for their work with Incyte on The Vitiligo Mirror, which showed how AI-driven engagement can support patients with a visible and often misunderstood condition. Tangent90 also earned recognition for their CRM-integrated congress solution for Alnylam, proving that technology can streamline and strengthen HCP engagement.

The evening was rich with recognition for both agencies and clients, with Langland, Anthem, IQVIA, Stirred, Precision AQ, Radical Departures, Syneos Health Communications, and Digitas Health LDN all taking home gold awards. On the client side, AstraZeneca, Roche Diagnostics, Novartis, Santen, Takeda, Valneva, and Philips were also celebrated for their achievements.

For G-Med, this year’s ceremony was especially meaningful. We were proud to sponsor the HCP Education, Training, and Support category, a recognition that perfectly aligns with our mission. At its core, G-Med exists to equip healthcare professionals with the tools, knowledge, and global community they need to advance patient care. Supporting this category is more than symbolic—it reflects our belief that education and training are the foundation of better healthcare outcomes. Seeing the range of initiatives that empower physicians and improve their ability to serve patients reinforced why this area matters so deeply.

The rebranding of the PMi Awards feels timely. The industry is no longer just about creating eye-catching campaigns—it is about blending creativity with real-world impact. From AI-powered platforms to carefully designed educational programs, the night showed us how innovation is transforming the way pharma connects with healthcare professionals and patients. For G-Med, it was an honour to contribute to this celebration. We look forward to continuing our role in shaping the future of HCP engagement, education, and support, beyond platforms, borders, and traditional approaches.
