ADHD- KOL Sponsored Post
The KOL showed impressive exposure parameters—over 10,000 physicians from 18 countries engaged in different levels (comments, poll voting, and views). The results exceeded the original goal by 25%.
Adults suffering from attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can have major socioeconomic disadvantages, such as lower levels of education, higher levels of unemployment, and substance abuse. When untreated and undiagnosed, it can have negative impact on both the individual and society.
A new multinational clinical trial, therefore, aims to estimate the prevalence of adults suffering from the condition across European countries. One of the ways proposed was through digital exposure, where a greater number of possible undiagnosed cases can be reached.
Target specialties: PCPs, Neurologists, and Psychiatrists.
Project Description: The most effective way of reaching out to physicians was through other physicians and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Three take home messages were drafted and presented on a post by a widely known KOL, with links to original trial results. Engaging questions were presented in addition to poll questions to evaluate physicians' views and disease management habit messages.
